GENERAL CONCEPT FOR PRIVATE AND PUBLIC CITY FIXTURES
City fixtures contribute to the town’s beautification and image and consequently enhance its confidence. A well designed street creates wellness and harmony and strengthens the town’s identity. For street renovations usually only one part of the town is seen as admirable, while not respecting adjacent streets and town areas. Thus it happens that in different streets of the same area you will find different city fixtures. The town itself however is supposed to appear unified and so too in questions of design. Smaller differences and variations in the city fixtures serve as a convenient loosening and are desirable, but a general concept should exist to give coherence to an apparently “wild” variety of fixtures.
